Member Profiles Reinstated
We haven't had any suspicious activity for a while, so the member profiles have been turned back on again. Hopefully we won't have any further problems and the profiles will remain available.

Member profiles
There have been a few incidences of people signing up to this archive in order to use the Bio feature to spam our members. In order to prevent this becoming a major problem, the admins have taken two steps.
1. New members will now need to enter a verification code when registering. This is to prevent bots from completing the form automatically.
2. The profile information that members have entered will not now be displayed. This, hopefully, should deter actual people from registering only to spam the archive.
We have also requested Google to not link to this site, and this should also help. If matters improve, the profiles can again be displayed.
